SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining assets in line with industry standards and manufacturer requirements to ensure optimal equipment reliability. You will follow all relevant local, regional, and Group guidelines, with a particular emphasis on HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards, ensuring that all tasks are performed in strict accordance with established safety protocols, performance objectives, and operational procedures.
This position is located at our new Factory in the industrial zone at the 10th of Ramadan area and will report to the Local Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks according to established standards and procedures, ensuring high-quality outcomes and maximum efficiency.- Document and register all required data related to work orders for accurate record-keeping and reporting.- Assist in maintaining the operational effectiveness and quality of Jotun's property and production equipment.- Actively contribute to root cause analysis for recurring or critical breakdowns and equipment failures.- Participate in Safe Job Analysis and strictly follow Work Permit requirements to ensure safety and compliance.- Support engineering projects by providing documentation for electrical and mechanical drawings, and assist in the commissioning process for new assets, adhering to HSEQ and engineering standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we look for:
- 6+ years experience in factory maintenance.- Expertise in electrical and/or electronic maintenance.- Experience with instrumentations, sensors, PLC, and software programs (SCADA) is essential.
