Key Accountabilities
**Geospatial Data Management**: Manage the collection, processing, storage, and dissemination of Earth observation data collected from open access platforms/datasets. Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure efficient and secure handling of large-scale EO datasets.
**Data Access and Dissemination**: Facilitate efficient data access and dissemination to users and stakeholders. Implement data delivery mechanisms, such as web-based portals, APIs, or data distribution systems, to enable easy and secure access to EO data products.
**Technology Assessment**: Review the state-of-the-art technologies (AI, ML, and cognitive) and analyse its integration into operational services.
**Operational Contract Placement**: Complete a 6-month operational contract abroad, working closely with experienced engineers and operational teams. Gain hands-on experience in operational data management, contribute to critical mission activities, and enhance your understanding of real-world operational challenges.
