**Role purpose**:
To offer technical guidance for RAN planning Engineers or Senior Engineers to undertake Radio planning daily activities on a predefined area to ensure best customer experience, aside from handling global audits and studies across the whole region in cooperation with other team members to keep consistent network in terms of configuration and performance. This is in addition to capacity monitoring to allocate Radio resources’ bottlenecks and accommodate expected increase in traffic according to the forecast.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Review and evaluate new vendor solutions and Create site design and connectivity scenarios to fulfil the needed technologies requirements
- Perform traffic capacity studies on different technologies (GUL) and New technologies (5G) readiness study across the NW
- Set basic guidelines for Radio planning (in-door and out-door) including full alignment with up-to-date technology.
- Ensure customer satisfaction across offered planning services.
- Support in delivering the demand received from different customers.
- Follow all Radio Audits and resilience plan.
- Follow all Radio acceptance activities.
- Follow all Radio new features plan and implementation till activation and rollout phase.

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Education: BSC in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic Engineering
- Work Experience: from 5 to 8 Years of Experience in Radio Planning
- PC Knowledge: MS Office Package, Internet Package, and the Radio Planning Tools are an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills & Good presentation skills.
- Automation and programming background are a big plus.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Full awareness of the different Radio Technologies (2G, 3G & 4G-LTE).
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in different radio planning services like : Automatic frequency planning, cluster physical optimization, In-building solutions design, preparing master plans, area re-engineering, propagation model tuning, hardware and connectivity design, activation and initial tuning of outdoor/indoor radio sites.
- Strong analysis and reporting skills.
