YOU’LL WORK ON:
- As an IT Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports Shift EV's operations and growth. You’ll be responsible for building the foundation of our IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and planning for future scalability.
- Your primary responsibility is to create and maintain a robust, secure, and scalable IT environment across multiple sites, ensuring employees have reliable access to the resources they need. You will proactively address challenges, support company operations, and contribute to fostering a workplace that prioritizes efficiency, security, and employee satisfaction.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
- Implement foundational cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure secure data storage and implement encryption for sensitive information.
- Train staff on best practices for cybersecurity.
- SAP administration
- Set up a reliable network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Install and configure servers, storage solutions, and communication systems.
- Identify and deploy essential hardware and software tools to support business operations.
- Establish IT policies for security, access control, and acceptable use.
- Create and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Control the CCTV operations.
- Provide Audio/Video solutions
- Managing printers, and troubleshooting issues.
YOU ARE:
- Bachelor's degree Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years of experience in IT administration, preferably including projects involving the setup of IT systems from scratch.
- Expertise in network and system design and implementation.
- Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and SAP administration.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, and switch configurations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity basics and best practices.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Highly motivated and result oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
