Local Business Line Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**:
As the Sales Manager for Process Industries, pulp and paper you will be responsible for development and execution of the sales strategy of our Local business Line “Egypt, North Central Africa, Near East and Gulf ”, with our customers through the entire life cycle of their assets starting from early solution conceptualization through sales to execution followed by all kinds of basic and advanced life cycle services. This will cover the complete solution and service portfolio of ABB pulp and paper digitalization, au-tomation, QCS, Paper Machine drives, specific instrumentation L&W, KPM, and electrification. This position reports to Local Division Manager PAPI P&P and functionally to P&P Italy Cluster sales manager. This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area, Cairo;Egypt. The work model for the role is onsite. You will be mainly accountable for: - Overseeing the Marketing & Sales and Business development functions of the Local Business Line including the Solutions and Service portfolio. - Achieving the sales targets that include order volume and order gross margin. Managing sales costs within budget. Establishing sales and portfolio mix targets throughout the organization and tak-ing corrective actions when needed. - Creating, planning, and implementing the sales strategy, and strategic sales and business de-velopment initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy and overseeing all marketing and sales activities within the local Business Line. Ensuring efficient marketing communications. - Managing the mix of orders to ensure that all sectors and portfolios are adequately covered. This includes attention to the growth of the service and channel partner business. - Helping customers in driving efficiency and sustainability, making a strong impact - Leading exciting projects that help customers overcome their challenges - Enjoying a supportive and solution driven team environment
**Qualifications for the role**:
- 8 - 13 years of sales experience, preferred to have exposure to Pulp and Paper or automation business.
- English language is a must
- Ready to travel
- Must be creative, strategic, analytical, influential and possess negotiation skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence.
