Make telephone calls to existing and prospective Life Makers donors.Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topicsIdentify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternative.Raising awareness of and interest in Life Makers campaigns, activities and achievements.Meeting and where possible exceeding targets for each fundraising campaign.Learn Life Makers key messages and keep up‐to‐date with Life Makers campaigns and projects.Be responsive and receptive to training and coaching.Keep detailed notes on information shared by Life Makers donors during these calls.Data entry of notes when required.Collect financial details where necessary in accordance with strict Life Makers policies and procedures.Treat all data especially donor’s details with the highest level of confidentiality.Provide regular progress reports.On request, undertake other specified tasks.
Previous experience in a customer support role.A high level of motivation, enthusiasm and confidence.Excellent phone and verbal communication, promotional and active listening skills.An outstanding ability to creatively engage with a diverse audience.The drive and motivation to deliver ongoing results and meet targets.Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.Average administration skills.Must be empathetic and non-judgmental.Must be an active listener and have good writing skills.Must have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.Must have strong decision making skills.Superior organizational and time management skills are musts.Must have good computer skills and the ability to manage databases.
