You will be working as Automation Senior Field Service Engineer/Senior Field Service Engineer and will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Field Service Team Leader and will be responsible to execute medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines, deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB

**Your responsibilities**:

- Clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform
- Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations, working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance and operational performance improvements
- Utilizing the local practices for notifying the account team of opportunities, planning and preparing site work for larger project team and manages related subcontractors at site, performing complex field service tasks, while on-site, works with the customer to identify opportunities for improving the customers operations and eliminating pain points
- Coaching technicians and engineers and supervises complex site activities, supporting the certification process of associate field service engineers and field service engineers, preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensures that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities
- Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative, troubleshooting equipment/Systems/Process failures and requests proactive corrective actions and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
- Acting as a technical consultant in own specific area of expertise, proactively planning and executing work on a first-time right approach with customers and ensuring the job is done on time and on quality
- Identifying improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the way of working and the products in question and driving improvement actions in own area of responsibility, utilizing all relevant tools, reporting work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed
- Developing, coaching and providing technical guidance to colleagues, acting as trainer when needed, for team members and customers

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer, Electrical and Power Machine department
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety & Integrity - Management / Customer Focus & Quality - Management
- Knowledge of electrical networks
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-efficient time management
- Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude, Written and verbal communication skills are essential and experienced use of different Microsoft program
- Fluency in English language is mandatory, Arabic language is a privilege
