Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team. This role will involve utilizing the Odoo system to manage stock movements, ensuring product expiry dates are monitored, and maintaining an organized inventory. You will play a critical role in handling packaging materials responsibly and ensuring efficient stock turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and manage the in and out movement of stock using the Odoo system.
- Ensure all available products are regularly checked for expiry dates.
- Maintain a well-organized stock area to facilitate easy access and inventory checks.
- Safely handle and dispose of empty or used packing materials and barrels.
- Monitor stock turnover and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Determine and manage zero stock points to avoid supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team and sales representatives to align stock levels with business needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in the chemicals or agrochemicals industry.
- Familiarity with the Odoo system or similar inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
