**Job Details**:
The purpose of this this role is maintaining and supporting excellence in costing practice, through brain-storming complex projects, advising on methodologies. Responsible for accurate and consistent costing across teams, Improved project profitability (through driving improvements based on trend analysis) and systems and training that builds awareness, skills, and capabilities to support excellence in costing. The role includes negotiations with procurement teams

Coordination and successful execution and delivery of all F&T (Interco, MCP) projects as per the specifications (research design) within agreed time and cost, **commissioned by all Kantar Brands (KTNS, KMB,KWP,KPA). **To provide costs for all RFQs, proposals, planning and estimation, monitoring, project briefing working closely with Client Service team to understand the project requirements and ensuring execution through a team of project managers or sourcing for new supplier/vendors wherever KCI doesn’t have direct presence in Middle East and North Africa (MENA). To achieve cost efficiencies to meet financial targets and profitability.

**Responsibility**:

- Responsible for providing detailed and accurate costs based on the study requirements
- Understand research methodologies, processes and procedures in relation to fieldwork in Middle East and North Africa region and what impact these would have on the study objectives and cost.
- Respond in a timely and accurate manner to cost requests
- Understand cost drivers with particular reference to fieldwork cost drivers (sample size, incidence, interview length, strike rates etc) and financial considerations (hourly rates, staff grades, etc)
- Liaise with MCP Hubs, other Kantar countries and local teams (Operations, Client Service and Financial Decision Makers) in an efficient, professional and friendly manner
- For Fieldwork, calculate accurate costs for RFQ’s ensuring they are transparent and logical
- Receive accurate and transparent costs for RFQ’s from local teams (Operations, Finance,...)
- Collate and analyses costs received ensuring all parameters of the RFQ have been costed for correctly, standard global
- rates have been used and all the necessary information has been shared
- Promote and develop standard procedures and best practices.
- Seek advice and information on more complex requests as required
- Provide alternative solutions in situations where appropriate
- Knowledge of basic economic factors such as inflation and exchange rates
- Sound knowledge of the local business operations and capabilities
- Sound knowledge of processing capability, local fieldwork challenges / quality, project management skills etc of countries (TNS and third-party suppliers) in the MENA region
- Ensure all information on costs are accurately stored in order to successfully distribute the information on commissioning of the study
- Assume full responsibility for updating and maintaining: Cost sheets, Cost manual
- Assume full responsibility for working with Kantar Pricing Tool (KPT) or any other costing tool in place:

- Test KPT against existing costs (with support from delivery teams where necessary)
- Plan and ensure accurate use of the KPT across the business
- Supplier Management, to include, evaluation / assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service, quality, and compliance to contracts and established service level agreements.
- Work closely with Admin and Finance to drive continuous improvement in the overall sourcing of contract and procure-to-pay end-to-end processes across Kantar.
- Act as primary point of contact for all Kantar third-party enquiries, providing support to the business on day-to-day queries and issue resolution.

**F&T jobs**:

- Successful execution of all Interco F&T jobs by PM team, including P&L on those types of jobs
- Providing cost on all projects
- Having PM team to take full ownership of project management including delivery timelines, quality and cost
- Having PM to ensure materials readiness, CAPI script testing, briefing, daily updates on all assigned projects
- Implementing low cost, technology driven initiatives including compliance on platforms like Kantar Project, KPT or similar
- Coordination with all departments on cost, timelines and quality of deliverables
- Ensure best in class work practices including planning, estimation, costing, timeliness, communication, and responsiveness
- Providing all kinds of productivity, utilization, and cost reports on time to the management
- Identify training and development needs for the PM Department
- Has solid understanding of how to ‘get the job through the system’ with deep level of knowledge in at least one of the following areas: multiple data collection methodologies, sampling
