- Lead and mentor the Governance & Policies Team.
- Foster a culture of ethical behavior, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote awareness of Governance & Policies best practices as appropriate among management and ensure sound principles are reflected in the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of Governance & Policies activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the Governance & Policies fields.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate GRC practices into business operations.
**Personal Skills**:
- 10+ years of experience in relevant field.
- Master's degree in business, governance or relevant domain (preferred).
- Ability to lead and influence governance initiatives across multiple departments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple complex & confidential tasks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
**Technical Skills**:
- Proven experience in corporate governance, policy management, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of international governance standards (e.g., ISO, OECD, COSO) and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience developing and implementing governance and policies.
- Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
- Professional certifications in governance, risk management, and compliance (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CIA, CFE) preferred.
**Education**:
B.Sc. of Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
