Senior Costing Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the General Accounting team with significant visibility to many other departments within the organization. Primary duties will be to support the accounting manager as it relates to the preparation and analysis of the plant performance, while adhering to generally accepted accounting principles and company policies. Incumbent will also function as a user expert for SAP OTC.

**Accountabilities**:

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Prepare and analyze the monthly cost variance analysis for (MUV & PPV & DL & FOH & VE & FX) and send the report to global management with detailed analysis and commentary.
- Prepare and lead the monthly inventory meeting to review RM & WIP Slob with procurement & operation team
- Support in annual budget plan & quarterly forecast
- Lead the physical count process for WIP, FG, fixed assets
- Review BS accounts on monthly basis (inventory & accruals & others)
- Dealing with internal & external auditors to for the annual audit review
- Review bank reconciliation, payment process & payable accounts
- Review Capex process (approvals, payment, depreciation)

**Working Relationships & Environment**:

- Reporting to the Plant Controller
- Position will be working with plant Ops team, commercial and global teams
- Partnering with internal and external Audit
- May lead and direct the work of others
- The role will be based in Alexandria
- Position may require sitting at desk for long periods of time
