**Job Title: Economic Growth Advisor**

The company is seeking an Economic Growth Advisor. Vistant is recruiting for the Economic Growth Advisor in support of USAID/Egypt for the Egyptian Red Sea Initiative (ERSI) activity. This position is Remote with in-country support as needed with one trip for four days for the ERSI launch in Hurghada, Egypt. The Period of Performance is 6 months.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**
- Support Consultations and Proposal Process:

- Assist with consultations and proposal development for the Global Fund for Coral Reef (GFCR), including discussions on establishing an appropriate entity to succeed GFCI/ERSI.
- Facilitate USAID’s involvement in the Advisory and Steering Committees during the early stages of project implementation.
- Collaborate with Climate Finance for Development Accelerator (CFDA):

- Engage in consultations with USAID’s Washington-based CFDA activity, which provides local legal services on the appropriate type of entity following GFCR.
- Close Collaboration with UNDP:

- Help identify the best mechanism for a follow-on self-sustaining conservation fund involving multiple donors and stakeholders.
- Refine communication and pitching approaches to solicit funding from additional donors and private sector partners.
- Develop guidelines for managing the conservation fund in collaboration with government officials, donors, private sector, and local community leaders.
- Finalize the design of related activities, including technical assistance and grants to local organizations in the Red Sea area, and assist in preparing and reviewing procurement documents and supporting project milestones.
- Support Preparations:

- Prepare for the launch of ERSI in Hurghada, Egypt.
- Prepare for an ERSI showcase at the International Coral Reef Initiative in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- Prepare for a debt-for-nature swap workshop with the Government of Egypt.
- Specific Deliverables:

- Report outlining USAID’s roles in Advisory and Steering Committees for ERSI.
- Deliverables for the ERSI launch event, such as PowerPoint presentations and draft remarks for the Ambassador and Mission Director.
- Presentation materials for the debt-for-nature swap workshop.
- Notes and summary report for the debt-for-nature swap workshop.

**Experience**
- **At least 15 years of relevant international development or USAID experience.**

**Education**
- **Master's Degree is required for this role.**
