**Your day to day**

Financial Returns: - Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increasing productivity. - Maintain proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and labor. - Maintain Linen PAR stock at all times - Maintain FF&E assets and Small Operating Equipment -SOE levels People: - Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance. - Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties. - May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods. - Regularly communicate with staff and maintain good relations - Establish a productive working schedule in line with labor laws - Approve leave after considering hotel occupancies - Work together with all HODs and colleagues to achieve hotel targets i.e. Winning Metrics Guest Experience: - Manage the quality of housekeeping services. Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. - Carry out the special needs and requests of guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members. - Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction. - Drive for guest satisfaction, quality and timeliness service using the available tools i.e. QMS Responsible Business: - Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling, and cleaning agents). - May be responsible for the security of lost and found items throughout the hotel. - Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty. - Demonstrate Awareness of the Brand Safety Standards policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within the Brand Safety Standards guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same - Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures - Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly - Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers - Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements - Be fully aware of IHG Values, Vision and targets. - Be fully aware of IHG related brand standards in Rooms Division and ensure full compliance in coordination with the team - Make sure all related IHG initiatives and programs are introduced to the team and put into practice i.e. IHG way of Clean - 5 - S and Green Engage Accountability This is a top housekeeping job in a full-service hotel which may include multiple sites and outlets with high volume catering and convention facilities and must Work within "IHG winning ways" framework. Typically manages a large number of staff.

**What we need from you**

High School Diploma / secondary education / equivalent plus four years of housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel of similar size, including supervisory experience. Some college preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
