Our International Trade Compliance Team ensures the successful delivery of our energy products across the globe. Our team advice the business on Export Controls Rules and Regulations, Sanctions regulations, Boycott issues and import/export customs matters.

You will oversee the development and implementation of our Trade Compliance Program to ensure successful adaption by the company.

As an International Trade Compliance Leader, you will be responsible for:

- The international trade compliance team counsels Baker Hughes business on global export control and sanctions requirements, applies for governmental export licenses, and provides compliance advice and oversight for international trade activities on a global basis.
- Advises Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes, and procedures in the own field.
- Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.
- Leads as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.
- Monitor and communicate new international trade laws, rules and regulations changes in the region impacting the business and translate them in internal communications for business operations.
- Advice business and functions, including logistics, on inquiries related to cross border transactions.
- Lead the implementation of the ITC Playbook in region directly or indirectly through reports.
- Conducting risk assessment for trade, import and export areas to ensure mitigation plans are prepared and ready.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Management, International Trade or equivalent
- 5+ years of experiences working in a Legal department, Or International Trade.
- Be an expert in import/export matters.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
- Be a self-starter, willing to take on responsibility and able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
