Designing, developing, and implementing efficient RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) solutions to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborating with system architects and hardware engineers to integrate RAID systems into existing infrastructure.
- Conducting analysis of performance, reliability, and availability metrics to ensure RAID configurations meet organizational standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to storage systems, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity concerns.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for RAID solutions, including design specifications, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Performing regular maintenance and upgrades to RAID systems, ensuring optimal operation and data security.
- Testing and evaluating new storage technologies and RAID methodologies for potential integration into existing systems.
- Providing training and support to team members and end-users regarding RAID functionalities and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in RAID system design, development, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 6, 10) and their associated performance and fault tolerance implications.
- Experience with various storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, and SAN/NAS systems.
- Proficient in storage management tools and software for monitoring and configuring RAID systems.
- Understanding of file systems, databases, and data recovery processes.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for storage solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in storage technologies (e.g., CompTIA Storage+, SNIA) are a plus.
