RSA is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer supports NPI and sustaining activities at a Contract Manufacturer that produces our hardware authenticators.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Primary contact to support Quality and Manufacturing teams at the Contract Manufacturer
- Lead manufacturing activities for new product development releases and production volumes to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Drive manufacturing continuous process improvement.
- Decision Making & Analysis: Makes sound decisions based upon a mixture of data-driven analysis, expertise, experience, and judgment; collects relevant information, seeking input from others, and identifies connections and/or root causes of problems
- Monitor production yield for issues and trends to reduce defects and cost
- Identify automation opportunities, scope out solutions and develop business cases to present to RSA Management
- Audit/support existing and potential sub tier suppliers (packaging, custom labels, molded plastics, PCM manufacturers, custom cables, etc)
- Support internal cross functional teams (Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Supply Chain and Fulfillment).
- Create ECO’s as required to support hardware design changes or releases

**Education & Experience**:

- 7-10 years of experience Manufacturing Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of SMT, injection molding, automation, manual assembly and test processes
- Experience with international supply chain and contract manufacturing processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams inside and outside the organization including external Contract Manufacturers in other global regions
- Experience with design for high volume/low cost.
- Self-driven and confident in time management, hosting meetings and working with management staff.
- Experience working on multiple projects with time sensitive deadlines.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills-verbal and written.
