**Job Summary**:
Our partner is on the look for an Engineering Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating plans and procedures for effectively identifying and managingadaptations of product designs. S/he will help end users by resolving IT related issues, including malfunctioning of systems. The Solution Expert tests, oversees, and maintains solutions, which also includes the coordination of installing and updating. As an integrative member of the b_labs team, s/he is actively contributing to the creation of a safe, collaborative, growth-focused, purposeful, values-driven, and diverse company culture across all organizational levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- **
Manages and maintains owned systems **like dynamic 365, IBM sterling, SAP, etc.
- Communicates with vendors for **customization requests, periodic updates, and support requests**:

- Understands business requirements and accordingly **develop configuration specifications**:

- Recommends **system enhancements **and **upgrades for performance efficiency**:

- ** Optimizes configuration processes**:

- Analyzes and resolves **system defects and problems**:

- Reviews and recommends changes to **configuration management processes**:

- Reviews engineering and software documents; compares details to hardware or software segments or the breakdown structures of project work
- Collaborates with other senior-level staff to prepare engineering customization proposals

**Requirements**:

- Has at least **5 years **of hands-on working experience of **customization management **within systems engineering
- Is able toclarify needs and **priorities of users **and translate to **potential technology driven solutions**:

- Is able to**translate abstract concepts **into defined objectives, business requirements, business processes and functional specifications and an actionable product roadmap
- ** Has experience in agile ways of working **across an interdisciplinary team
- Understands **relationship with Product Manager, Scrum Master, Design Lead **and rest of technical team
- ** Has strong verbal and written communication skills **with ability to deliver complex messages, explain trade-offs, and tell a compelling story -also for corporate stakeholders
- Has experience in **operating in diverse and international settings **and **strong network within the Egyptian tech ecosystem preferable**:

- Is able to **communicate and report to leadership **in a goal-oriented manner
- Is acutely aware of, curious about, & able to leverage the **benefits & potential of teams’ cultural differences & diverse backgrounds**:
