Associate Managing Consultant, Analytics, Advisors

The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard Data & Services also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network.

Make an Impact as an Associate Managing Consultant in Analytics

As an Associate Managing Consultant in Analytics, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to client engagements across a range of industries and types of projects in the field of data, analytics, and consulting:

- Obtain data from multiple sources, collate, analyse, and triangulate information to develop reliable fact bases
- Work on data mining, model development, time series analysis, forecasting, segmentation tasks
- Gain knowledge on metrics, measurements, and benchmarking practices across multiple industry verticals.
- Review analytics end-products to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Extract intellectual capital from engagement work and actively share tools, methods, and best practices across projects
- Support MasterCard Advisors and local market account teams in client relationship management and business development effort, where required
- Lead and guide more junior team members in projects

Qualifications:

- 4 years+ of experience working with Python/Pyspark and/or R - python preferred
- Experience with databases and tools: SQL, Hadoop technologies
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and ability to structure analyses to form data-driven solutions to ambiguous client challenges
- Have an understanding of hands-on business analysis, databases, modeling, end to end analytics solutions
- Be able to demonstrate skills and experience in descriptive and predictive analytics including segmentations and predictive models
- Be able to speak in the language of data and the language of business
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbal
