**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deal Sourcing**: Identify and source potential M&A opportunities that align with our strategic goals; establish and maintain relationships with brokers, financial advisors, and potential targets.
- **Market Research**: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential target sectors, and competitive dynamics.
- **Financial Modeling and Valuation**: Develop detailed financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, including cash flow analysis, revenue forecasts, and synergy assessment.
- **Due Diligence**: Lead and coordinate the due diligence process, working with internal and external stakeholders to assess the financial, operational, and legal aspects of target companies.
- **Strategic Fit Analysis**: Evaluate how potential acquisitions align with our strategic objectives, including product, customer base, and geographic expansion.
- **Transaction Structuring**: Assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms to ensure favorable outcomes and long-term success.
- **Presentation and Reporting**: Prepare and present recommendations, deal summaries, and analysis for senior management and the board of directors.
- **Post-Acquisition Integration Planning**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans for newly acquired businesses.
- **Pipeline Management**: Maintain a pipeline of potential deals and track progress throughout the M&A process.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in investment analysis, M&A, or corporate finance, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
- **Analytical Skills**: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Understanding of SaaS business models, key metrics, and valuation principles.
- **Due Diligence Expertise**: Demonstrated experience conducting due diligence and identifying risks associated with acquisitions.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to clearly articulate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- **Project Management**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals and timelines.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. CFA, MBA, or relevant certifications are a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong Excel modeling skills; familiarity with databases like PitchBook or Capital IQ is an advantage.
- **Negotiation Experience**: Experience with deal structuring and negotiation in a fast-paced environment.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Ability to assess a business’s strategic fit and long-term potential.
