Rashpetco/Burullus is a Joint Venture (JV) company operating one of Egypt’s largest gas fields. The JV is the operator of the WDDM (West Delta Deep Marine) Field, which includes offshore wells/platforms and the 2.3 BCFD gas treatment plant located at Idku (Egypt North Coast). WDDM production supplying gas to the National Grid for internal use, and to the adjacent “Egypt LNG” plant for LNG export. Shell is a major partner in both Rashpetco and ELNG.

**What's the role?**:
The Projects HSE Advisor position offers a wide range of technical and managerial challenges covering brownfield and greenfield work in Onshore and Offshore Projects.

The portfolio of projects is broad, and the Projects HSE Advisor must be competent in managing a diverse range of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects HSE aspects across offshore and onshore assets.

PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The Projects HSE Advisor provides expertise to support the development and implementation of HSE risk controls related to all project's activities, executed in Rashpetco Projects.
- Provide leadership and support for Senior Management and Engineers in the Projects Dept.
- Leads by example, consistently displaying and enforcing the Company's values & behaviors, and commitment to the highest standards of safe and ethical behavior.
- As such she/he will ensure an efficient and effective cohesive approach on HSE management for all activities in line with the overall venture HSE Management System at all sites.
- Prepare the HSE Plan in line with Company polices and track progress of the actions.
- Prepare all project specific HSE procedures including emergency response and ensure implementation of the existing HSE Management system.
- Responsible for direct support to the Projects General Manager as well as deployment of HSE support, by HSE coaches in projects.
- Supporting Projects Execution and commit to Goal Zero delivery.
- Understand risks and ensure pragmatic solutions are implemented to deliver credible, competitive, and affordable operations.
- Support deployment of Safety Leadership Program.
- Co-develop and execute the annual HSE Business Improvement and assurance plan and track actions closing.
- Manage the approval by the authorities for the EIA and develop an environmental commitments plan and track progress with implementation of the actions.
- Participate in HAZID', HAZOP's, HSE Audits.
- Review and approve all contractor HSE plans and track progress of the actions.
- Facilitate LOD1-2-3 audits held in-country as required.
- Supervise, coach, develop and mentor HSE staff.
- Participate in incident investigations, incident reporting, review incident investigations for quality of findings, participating in Incident Review Panels and share learnings.
- Maintain HSE KPI monitoring and reporting and provide HSE statistics for the projects Monthly and annual reports.
- Promote the HSE culture within the project team and with contractors.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry and in particularly Projects HSE field.
- HSE related certificates (minimum: NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent).
- Experienced in operational delivery of HSE activities in projects in an offshore and onshore environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and previous track record of successfully coaching others in the team.
- Experience of working in a Joint Venture.
- Onshore and offshore projects HSE experience.
- High level of achievement and cooperative work ethic essential for success.
- Team player and ability to work out the system to achieve projects goals.

- Demonstrate ability to influence to achieve results in areas without direct authority.
- Fluency in Arabic will be a distinct advantage.
