**Job **Summary**

This individual, under general supervision, is responsible for the preparation of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, bread, cakes, pies, etc., by various methods of cooking such as baking, broiling, frying, boiling, stewing, and steaming.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Prepares specialty dishes and standard menu items.
- Prepares fast-order foods such as hamburgers, eggs, sandwiches, fried potatoes and similar items upon supported personnel request.
- Prepares salads, vegetables, soups and fresh fruit dishes.
- Participates in major kitchen events such as celebrations and parties.
- OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES _
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Title of Direct Report(s)**:
**Title of Supervisor: Operations Manager / Lead Cook**

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Must have knowledge of English and Arabic verbal and written.

**Experience & Education**
- Diploma from an accredited Technical School or Institute.
- Three (3) years of experience as cook in a hotel or restaurant catering to English speaking patrons.

**Physical Requirements/Working Environment**
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
