**Role purpose**:
Lead the E2E IOT solutions integration design & technical delivery work for Vodafone proprietary IoT platform to the customers’ operators’ platforms through a team of IoT systems integration engineers handling all integration & deployment work with proper customer relationship management and resource planning/management, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
Traveling to customers sites may be required for certain time intervals upon request ensuring the guarantee of the required value.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Solution Design, Deployment, Integration, Testing and Delivery of Vodafone proprietary IoT Platform (GDSP) solutions to create market differentiation and expansion for Vodafone.
- Lead the E2E IOT solution design & delivery.
- Communicate & influence effectively across technology and business stakeholders in global multi-cultural teams
- Deliver technical proposals and share in the overall team strategy + solution design documents (HLD/LLD)
- Lead the E2E IoT systems integration testing.

**Key performance indicators**:
1. Quality of solutions and services design measured by fulfilling customer/business requirements and the reliability, usability of solutions and services when turning to live
2. Enhance the customer experience through producing world class quality services with highest levels of customer satisfaction
3. Technical leadership and coaching to the delivery team till successful delivery

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications with at least 5 years in Vodafone IoT platform (GDSP) and at least two of the following: Billing, Mediation, Provisioning, or Middleware.
- Design and testing of Vodafone IoT platform and integration with 2G/3G/4G-LTE network nodes including - but not limited to - CSDB, and PGWs.
- Experience in VAS & IN products & services (SMS, USSD, payment solutions,,... etc.) with integration experience
- Experience in System Integration Testing and Integration protocols (e.g. Diameter, Radius, HTTP, SOAP, etc.)
- Experience in SQL and PL*SQL.
- Strong analytical skills, organized, self-motivated & have excellent communications & presentation skills
- Experience in preparing High/Low level solutions design

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- B.Sc. of Computer Science/Communication Eng. with minimum 10 years of telco experience and at least 5 years in the design, deployment, integration and testing of Vodafone IoT platform (GDSP).
- Hands-on experience on the design and testing of Vodafone IoT platform and integration with 2G/3G/4G network nodes including CSDB, PGWs and other network nodes.
- M.Sc. degree in Computer Science/Eng. is a plus
- SQL and PL*SQL is a must. Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server installation and administration is a plus.
- Experience in Shell scripting, and Unix, Linux & Win Server environments administration & configuration
- Experience in Diameter, SOAP, IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and messaging patters e.g. Publish/Subscribe
