You will be working as Sales specialist and you will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Water Segment Manager and will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned infrastructure market for the Electrification products with more focus on water segment, professional planning of own work to meet targets in a timely and quality manner, professional follow-up and report of own progress against planned targets and handle corrective actions, if needed.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability, building and maintaining strong relationships at senior levels with key customers and industry stakeholders
- Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets and maintaining sales leads and prospects, understanding the underlying needs of the customer and identifying new business possibilities
- Running the negotiations with the customer and moves the business to the agreed upon margins, as well as ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
- Fulfilling the expected number of customer visits, logs the visits and communicating the results with the sales management team
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and appropriate solutions to the customers, living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power
- Minimum 5 years in Sales and marketing, preferable to be in similar field
- Must have sales experience, knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and salesforce will be a big advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, leadership capabilities and communication skills
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is mandatory
