Junior MEP Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior MEP Engineer to join our team in New Cairo, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the architecture or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior engineers in the design and development of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or other design software.
  • Collaborate with architects and other team members to ensure coordination and integration of MEP systems with overall building design.
  • Conduct calculations and simulations to determine energy efficiency and sustainability of MEP systems.
  • Assist with cost estimation and budgeting for MEP systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations with clients to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the architecture or construction industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to MEP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
