Job Description

PILLARS is a leading architecture firm with a global presence, seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join their team in Cairo Back office for Saudi Arabia.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong design skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in interior design. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing high-profile interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage interior design projects, collaborating with the architecture team to develop integrated design solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Client Communication: Conduct client meetings and presentations to gather project requirements and present design proposals.
  • Design Development: Develop detailed design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layout.
  • Visualizations: Create 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design ideas to clients.
  • Construction Documents: Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
  • Furniture Selection: Oversee the selection and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
  • Project Budgeting: Manage project budgets and timelines, communicating updates to clients and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in interior design, preferably with a large architecture firm.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in interior design, preferably with a large architecture firm.
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
