Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surveyor to join our team at a large developer in Egypt. As a General Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting surveys for our development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys for land, buildings, and other structures using various surveying equipment and techniques
  • Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including maps, drawings, and reports
  • Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure proper placement and alignment of structures and infrastructure
  • Analyze survey data and provide recommendations for adjustments or modifications as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
  • Manage surveying equipment and supplies, and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and other team members
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and advancements in surveying technology and techniques
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a General Surveyor, preferably in a large development company
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
  • Proficiency in using surveying software and tools, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
