Innovative Consulting Partners seeks a skilled Fireproofing Consultant to work with our team in the Chicago, IL area. As a Fireproofing Engineer, you will perform takeoffs for fireproofing on steel structure estimates and utilize company extensions and relevant software for accurate estimates.
Candidates for this position are expected to work in office at our location in Cairo, Egypt, with working hours from 4PM-1AM Egypt time due to direct collaboration with our US-based team.
This is an opportunity to work with a leading contractor and develop your skills in civil or architectural estimating.
- Perform takeoffs for fireproofing on steel structure estimates.
- Utilize company extensions and relevant software for accurate estimates.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- 1-4 years of experience in civil or architectural estimating.
- Strong understanding of steel structures and architectural plans, including sections and details.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Background in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel (creating worksheets with formulas).
- Experience with takeoff software is a plus.
