**Your Job**
Reporting to our Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic direction by building a partnership with front-line leadership and collaborating with business partners to develop and coach the production team related to EHS.
In this role, you will ensure systems to effectively address facility EHS risk profiles by balancing Safety and Environmental aspects.
**The job will be located at 10th of ramadan city, Sharqia Egypt.**
**What You Will Do**
**PBM Culture Development**:Champion the use and advancement of our Principled Based Management culture within EHS practices, ensuring alignment with company values and strategic goals.
**Transformational Leadership**:Provide transformative leadership and influence to achieve the EH&S vision, partnering with plant leadership to develop and execute short
- and long-term objectives focused on critical risks.
**Capability Building**:Foster relationships with operational teams to build EH&S capabilities at the plant. Coach teams on key risk mental models and implement our Safety Vision and Risk Philosophy.
**Strategic Alignment**:Develop and align facility EH&S programs and strategies with plant operational initiatives and projects, ensuring they support broader business objectives.
**Risk Management Systems**:Develop systems and knowledge around critical safety and environmental risks, focusing on identification, assessment, and control development for prevention and mitigation.
**Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure compliance with operating permits and EH&S regulations, considering both current and emerging topics, while embedding compliance within the PBM framework.
**Collaborative Environment**:Promote a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to understand and exercise decision rights, sharing ideas and improvements related to EH&S.
**Learning from Incidents**:Develop systems to learn from near misses and incidents, creating effective corrective and preventive action plans to drive continuous improvement.
**Training and Development**:Design and implement EH&S training systems tailored to plant needs, ensuring continuous development of employee competencies.
**Audit Management**:Organize and manage internal and external EH&S audits, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
**Contractor Coordination**:Work with operations to ensure contractors align with our Safety Vision and adhere to EH&S standards, incorporating PBM principles.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Experience leading and developing EHS initiatives and programs.
- EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Engineering background in Safety, Environmental, or related field
- Excellent communicator in English
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience with Egypt specific EHS regulations and reporting
- Broad based knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety Egypt regulations.
- Ability to coach and influence others.
