**SUMMARY**:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for helping achieve continuous delivery/continuous development and optimization of our cloud environments; you will have a scripting background in Python, containerization with Kubernetes, hands-on with OpenStack Platform, and experience writing optimized playbooks. You can function independently and enjoy cross-team collaboration Solutions Architects and Cloud SMEs in a fast-paced environment.

**Detailed job description, responsibilities**:

- Responsible for implementation, testing and lifecycle development of FCAPS components.
- Maintain and build scripts to manage cloud infrastructure and server instances.
- Develop testing and implementation plans for projects with multiple moving parts.
- Communication and cooperation with 3rd parties/ vendors.
- Participate in solving and eliminating ops escalations.
- Collaborate with Release Manager and SME teams towards making improvements in the package release development and QA standards.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services.
- Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
- Consistently provide high quality work in a deadline driven environment.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry certifications preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems or cloud computing.
- 3 years’ experience with cloud infrastructure technologies (OpenStack, and OpenShift)
- Hands-on development experience with Continuous delivery tools (GIT, Jenkins, and Ansible)
- Proven ability to provide automation solutions using Bash, Python, and JSON.
- Hands on Experience on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHCE)
- Hands on experience deploying and operating monitoring and data visualization solutions; at least two (Prometheus, Zabbix, fluentd, Grafana and Kibana).
- Good understanding of ETSI NFV architecture, building blocks and functionalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills that include developed written and oral communication skills.
- Effective collaboration techniques and the ability to problem solve within a team and cross-functionally.
