**Job Description**:

- Lead a team of software engineers in the development and maintenance of our company's backend software systems.
- Work with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and test backend software systems.
- Mentor and coach software engineers.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest backend development technologies.
- Work with other engineering teams to ensure that our backend systems are integrated with other systems in our company.
- Ensure that our backend systems meet all security and compliance requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
- Experience leading and mentoring software engineers.
- Experience with software development best practices and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Microservices and container-based stacks (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Experience with one or more configuration management systems
- Proven ability to implement secure and highly available services
- Good knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and open source technologies
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
- Good understanding of core Internet technologies; TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
- Rigorous and speak with data

- Capacity to deep dive when needed to support
- Capacity to anticipate and manage technical risks
- Responsible, Committed and Proactive
