**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Installation & Maintenance**:

- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, central air systems, and ventilation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- ** System Optimization**:

- Monitor and adjust HVAC systems to ensure optimal temperature and air quality in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Implement energy-saving strategies to reduce the hotel's operational costs while maintaining comfort levels.
- ** Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all air conditioning systems comply with local and national safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling refrigerants, electrical components, and other HVAC-related materials.
- ** Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency calls related to HVAC system failures, ensuring mínimal disruption to hotel operations and guest comfort.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HVAC-related issues.
- ** Vendor & Contractor Coordination**:

- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for the procurement of HVAC parts and services.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- ** Team Support**:

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to support other engineering tasks as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians on HVAC-related matters.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AC Engineer, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Certification in handling refrigerants and HVAC systems is a plus.
