**Job Title**:Greeter

**Job Summary**:
FAR Group requires greeting services for the American Center Cairo (ACC) for a period of 6 (six) months.

We are looking for skilled and trained resources as onsite support agent, commonly known as “Greeter” to perform the following tasks:

- Greeter will be available at the Embassy’s West Gate (Visa Gate) at address 5 Tawfik Diab Street, Garden City, Cairo or North Gate at address 8 Kamal EL Din Salah, Garden City, Cairo, as needed.
- All work shall be performed from Sunday through Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30
- Greeter will receive ACC visitors at the entrance, as the first point of contact, before they go through the security check.

**Greeters’ responsibilities**:

- Greeter is responsible for providing professional, informed, courteous and friendly greetings to the visitors.

- Greeter is responsible for answering any questions from ACC visitors, as per ACC guidelines.
- Greeters is responsible for helping ACC visitors orient themselves with the ACC processes, offerings, schedules, etc.
- Greeter will disseminate information to ACC visitors, in a professional, courteous and cheerful fashion to ensure that the ACC patrons have a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable visit at the ACC.
- Greeters is responsible for presenting the rules and regulations of the ACC, pertaining to membership, rules of conduct, security, etc.
- Distribute printed materials about the ACC and its programs, at the gates, when needed.
- Ensure that visitors to the ACC meet all the requirements for their visit before directing them to the ACC.
- For new members: Verify that applicants are 18 years of age or older, have a valid ID, and carry a photocopy of their ID
- Handle the confirmed registered list for ACC programs and organize entry of program participants.
- Receive returned ACC materials from members and place them inside the designated box at the west gate.
- Inside the ACC premises, greeter will support the ACC team with data entry of new ACC members.

**Qualifications and Skill Requirements**:

- Outstanding customer care service and ability to handle huge crowds
- Ability to handle visitors from different backgrounds and resolve issues that might occur outside the ACC entrance
- The ability to assist individuals with special needs
- The ability to identify needs according to the situation and respond appropriately and independently (with reference to the ACC)
- Fluent in Arabic and good command of English
- Self-confident, reliable, and flexible
- Good interpersonal communication and emotional awareness
- Presentable and abides by the ACC professional attire and grooming guidelines
- Keeps abreast of the ACC activities and programs (as will be trained by ACC staff)
- The ability to manage multiple tasks
