Senior Test Engineers will be required to deliver high quality products to the market in an efficient and productive way, utilizing all the tools at their disposal including test automation tools; perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Analyze customer business requirements including identifying any gaps or missing knowledge needed to perform testing activities.
- Design high level scenarios with the team.
- Design test scenarios from business requirements and use cases.
- Execute test cases based on the plan and test documents.
- Define and Execute regression suites.
- Execute smoke/sanity test cases on different environments (Test, Stg and Prod)
- Continuous communication of work progress through attendance of daily & weekly meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the bug triage meeting.
- Reporting defects & Bug tracking.
- Retest defects when they are resolved.
- Own knowledge transfer to new members.
- Train and coach new team members on specific tools and processes.
- Mentor their colleagues whenever required.
- Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.
- Participate in the test plan preparation.
- Participate in the process improvement.
- Raise flags proactively for any issue that can be impact the project.
- Participate in testing scripts using automation tool (Selenium etc.)
- May participate in estimation and planning the projects.
- May lead small team.

**Core Knowledge and qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related technical field.
- Excellent command of English language is a must.
- Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software Testing
- Experience with backend and frontend testing.
- Experience with testing Web APIs.
- Basic Knowledge on Java scripting knowledge is a must.
- Good Knowledge on SQL is a must.
- Excellent knowledge in ISTQB foundation in software testing is a must.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing is a must.
- Good knowledge in Agile methodologies.
- Working experience in dealing with test management tools like JIRA, ALM (Quality Center).
- High sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to identify and explore new testing frameworks.
- Ability to excel in a cross functional team environment.
