- Develop IoT products by designing, building and testing electronics and firmware according to Spectro Systems product roadmap.
- Prototype, design, develop, test and deploy devices in the field with actual use.
- Schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping and testing of fixture designs
- Control and Release products electrical BOM.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve component issues and drive initial component availability
- Designs and develops IoT edge software modules that interacts with sensors, wireless transmission devices.
- Determine product specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Ensure cost effectiveness of the final products through proper selections of electronics components and optimizing BoM
- Work cross functionally with business and product teams to ensure that our products’ specifications and costs are meeting market needs.
- Ensure manufacturability and testability are accounted for in new designs by participating in design reviews and whiteboard discussions with teammates.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors in engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in hardware design and firmware development.
- Solid ability to design analog and digital electronics.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Python.
- Experience working with wireless communication, especially for WiFi and BLE.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cairo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
