**Primary Purpose of Job**:
To conduct full assessment of the current "as is" situation for IT operations and provide a comprehensive finding and improvement recommendation report.
Provide input and customization recommendation to OSS/BSS ecosystems implementation ITSM tool, monitoring, provisioning, CRM).
Benchmark processes against best practices and provide measurable KPIs to achieve efficiency.
Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and achieve enhanced service levels.
Review all processes that have been developed to date within customer IT environment.
Review the existing documents and approved processes to develop a clear understanding and awareness of the requirements, and present the review findings to the customer. Ensure that all interlocks within IT internal and external stakeholders are clearly understood, agreed and documented.
Analyze and report customer’s IT operations organization structure and review existing operations systems and tools used within IT operations.
Develop, update, improve and/or add any existing processes to ensure attainment of the required business and operational objectives. Define and document the relevant operational KPIs for customers.
Perform a gap analysis of the existing Operations processes, systems and tools, including process documentation, workflows and interactions

**Key Responsibilities**:
To carry out duties relating to the IT operations, and assess current IT operations maturity, identify gaps and shape solutions. Lead or participate in teams ensuring that responsibilities and accountabilities for meeting requirements and delivery of various design artefacts and deliverables are clearly understood, documented, agreed and fulfilled.
Ensure effective collaborative working across relevant organization functions in OBS to make sure that the recommendations meet the requirements, agreed quality criteria, follow recognizable best practice techniques, align to documented wider IT.
Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas to enable delivery of end to end IT operations model with hands-on experience in ITSM tools including:
incident management,
problem management,
performance management,
fault management,
capacity management,
change management,
configuration management along with other ITIL processes.

Produce IT operations process workflows and IT operations organizational structure along with IT operations tools assessments.
Conduct a Gap Analysis for processes, tools and organization
Develop core IT operations processes.
Define RACI matrix for IT resources.
Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Generate job descriptions for the different roles that are required or improve those that exists
Ensure that each process has a clearly defined input and output.
Excellent overall knowledge of ITSM processes and frameworks including ITIL (ITIL V4 preferred), SIAM, ISO 20000 along with Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS).
Management of complex and conflicting priorities with ease
Ability to balance short term vs. strategic solutions to cater to conflicting demands
Creates operational design specifications.
Translates business and operational requirements into test cases, test scenarios and scripts.
Maintains new and existing object reference files.
Validates deployments of IT operations tools.
Assists in establishing requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance.
Evaluates vendor IT operations systems to ensure compliance with requirements and cost effectiveness.
Manage different vendors to build a new BSS/OSS stack to support cloud services (commercial public cloud and Telco cloud) along with smart services.
Define and manage the integration within BSS/OSS, ITSM components and with external systems according to the defined service catalog and use cases.
Good knowledge with NFVM and SDN platforms and its interlock with OSS/BSS systems
Ability to review and validate ITSM and BSS/OSS design documents and act as the interface between customer and vendors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related field. Or equivalent work experience
Experience: 5-10 years of IT operations experience and recent exposure to ITIL (ITIL V4 preferred), ISO 20K and DevOps.
Competencies: Experience working in IT operations processes. Experience working in an agile team environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions
