Road/highway Draughtsman

Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans for road and highway construction projects, including alignment sheets, cross-sections, profiles, and utility layouts.

2. Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and survey data to accurately represent project requirements.

3. Collaborate closely with engineers, surveyors, and other project team members to ensure drawings meet project objectives and standards.

4. Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to produce accurate and detailed drawings in accordance with project timelines.

5. Prepare quantity take-offs and material schedules based on project specifications.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards in all drawings and designs.

7. Assist in the review and coordination of drawings with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and authorities.

8. Conduct site visits and surveys as necessary to verify existing conditions and assist in the development of as-built drawings.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Road and Highway Draughtsman, preferably in the infrastructure sector in Egypt.

3. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

4. Strong understanding of road and highway design principles, including geometric design, grading, and drainage.

5. Familiarity with relevant Egyptian codes, standards, and regulations related to road and highway construction.

6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.

7. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

8. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is a plus.
