This job is an essential role in the local HR team; driving and running the learning and development activities for all Jotun employees, inline with the different business, regulatory and corporate requirements. The job reports directly to the HR & Administration Manager and is based in Cairo head office, with some local travel requirements across other company sites. Job description -Plans, promotes, implements and measures the impact of competence development activities by coordinating with employees, managers, regional/group competence development teams, relevant support functions and external third party vendors to implement high quality and effective learning and development activities for Jotun Egypt employees. -Follow up on the completion of all HSEQ training element requirements in line with budget and in coordination with the HSEQ Manager by planning and coordinating necessary trainings and campaigns to ensure that Jotun provides the necessary Health Safety and Environmental trainings, awareness and competencies to their employees, contractors and visitors. -Drives the relevant competence development programs including induction program, student internship program and internal training programs by following - and developing where needed - the programs plans and processes, in coordination with the relevant internal and external parties to support Jotun employer branding, internal engagement, new hires smooth onboarding and employees competence development.
Qualifications -1-3 years of general corporate experience. -Relevant learning & development experience is a plus. Personal qualities -Acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results. -Makes an impact; convinces and persuades others; promotes plans and ideas successfully. -Builds a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve objectives. -Produces fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions; breaks away from tradition; promotes change and novelty. -Communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively. -Is aware of own strengths and limitations and pursues learning and career development opportunities.
