**Key Responsibilities & Tasks**
- A key competency of this role is the ability to translate SAP customers’ business problems and ambitions into practical tactical and strategic roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while identifying clear value drivers and developing compelling outcomes-based value propositions to guide customer’s decision-making.
- Understands the as-is situation and goals of a customer holistically (e.g. industry, LoB), can translate them into an appropriate business-driven IT-roadmap and architecture design based on SAP’s offerings and SAP’s cloud strategy, with a clear focus on customer success.
- Operationalizes the customers’ business strategies, identifies relevant components, approaches, input, etc. to derive the best possible solution and helping our customers reap the increasingly differentiating benefits of our cloud solutions.
- Challenges existing solutions / approaches / concepts, to generate a state-of-the-art and future-ready outcome.
- Takes a step back if required and re-defines the concepts so that a constant improvement is guaranteed (agility in solution design).
- Clarifies expectations from various stakeholders, especially in very difficult cases; creates a solution which integrates diverse points of views and serves as a starting point for future SAP business. Collaborates with customers, partners and SAP teams for the best possible implementation.
- Drives knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers. Documents successful approaches, tools etc. and makes them available at SAP internally.
- Collaborates and co-innovates with the respective development teams.
- Fully understands and leverages the capabilities of SAPs technology platform(s).
- Support our customers on their transformation to SAP S/4HANA / Intelligent Enterprise
- Take the lead of delivery of complex remote and onsite services together with our experts for global customers with focus on system optimization, conceptual planning and road mapping as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
- Be the key SAP architect for our global customers when it comes to Enterprise Architecture planning following proven methodologies and delivering Enterprise Architecture artefacts together with our customers.
**SAP Specific Expertise**
- Very strong knowledge with a proven projects record in any of the following areas where he acted as a team lead and/or consultant and/or solution architect, areas can be either
- Finance & Treasury Management
- Or Logistics for example MM, EWM, TM, logistics executions. Others
- Or Supply chain example PP, QM, PM, others
- Good understating of SAP integration points between modules.
- Good knowledge of SAP cloud solutions and products roadmap (Ariba, C4C, SF & Fieldglass as an example)
- Overall SAP Corporate Strategy and SAP Product Strategy Knowledge
- Knowledge of the latest SAP Strategy and its related pillars including the capability to discuss this with the customer
- SAP Products and Methods Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Product Portfolio (on premise and cloud solutions, S/4HANA)
- Industry Solutions (in related industry area) - Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures
- Certification / competence in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- S/4HANA Functional Modules as mentioned above.
- Project Management (e.g., SAP Activate, PMI or SAP internal certification)
- SAP Professional Architect
- TOGAF
- SAP Transformation Navigator
- Design Thinking
**Soft Skills**
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in remote and on-site modes. The ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a professional manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
- Meeting Moderation and workshop facilitation in remote and on-site modes
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Contribute to a functional or business-related community
- Pro-active support of Knowledge Management and Innovation activities
**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & LANGUAGES**
- University degree - minimum bachelor’s level, Masters level preferred
- Practical experience in managing customers, SAP implementation projects, service deliveries and/or project management.
- Excellent communication skills with a convincing and friendly appearance.
- High-quality service mindset and the capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent English is a must, German/French is a plus.
