Furniture Designer

Develop and present interior design concepts for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Create detailed floor plans, mood boards, color palettes, material selections, and lighting schemes.
- Source and select furniture, finishes, têxtiles, and accessories that complement the overall design vision.
- Ensuring interior spaces are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with client preferences and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of design concepts.
- Provide design solutions that meet budgetary and spatial constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay current with design trends, materials, and technologies to offer innovative solutions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
- Provide design presentations and revisions based on client feedback.
- Conduct site visits to assess space, measure dimensions, and oversee installations.
- Ensure all design elements are executed according to plan, making adjustments as necessary during the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Proficiency level in the following Software:

- ** AutoCAD**: Technical drawings and detailed joinery specifications
- ** 3D MAX**: 3D modeling and design visualization
- ** Photoshop & Illustrator**: Concept presentations and mood boards
- Bachelor's degree of fine or applied arts.
- Creative and ergonomic design solutions.
- Material knowledge, especially wood, metal, and têxtiles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Strong eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- ** Experience**: 5+ years in furniture design, with a portfolio showcasing original designs and custom solutions.

**Work Environment**:

- Ability to work both in an office setting and on-site for project assessments and installations.
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and project oversight.
- Flexible working hours depending on project deadlines and requirements.
