A Recreation Manager is Responsible for overseeing the pool and marina and recreation associates and ensure the respective responsibilities and duties are completed and adhere to SOP's and protocols.

**What will I be doing?**

Duties, responsibilities and skills are similar, although you will usually choose a field of work according to your personal interests, academic background and experience.

As a Recreation Manager, your duties are likely to include:
Supervise the team and improve their service to go beyond the guest expectation. Responsible for the operation of all areas of Recreation including Pool, Beach and Marina, Kid's Club, fitness center, playground, adult/family/youth activities, special events, holiday activities and group activities.
Interview, train and evaluate Recreation team.
Encourage and motivate team members to improve their working efficiency and positivity.
Involve in and work on the maintenance plan of facilities, sign the maintenance contract with the supplied if necessary.
Monitor the assumption of guest amenities to control the cost.
To carry out regular inventories of operating equipment and take appropriate actions.
Ensures that Hilton Brand Standards are met or exceeded at all times, In all areas designed for well-being activities.
To ensure that all shortfalls in terms of overall appearance, maintenance, hygiene and safety are addressed with the help of relevant departments if needed.
To ensure that all products are ordered, stored and requisitioned according to the highest standards. Potential shelf life of products must be taken into account.
To keep abreast of industry trends and competition and suggest new ways to consistently improve the operation.
To work closely with Business Development for all current and future Business Strategies.
Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
To ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Team member Rules and Regulations.
The management reserves the right to change / extend this job description if necessary at any point of time during her / his employment.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
