**The team for you to join**

You will be joining the local QA team in Avedøre, Denmark with reference to the local QA Manager. You will also have a global network of QA colleagues from other sites all over the world.

**What would your role look like?**

As a QA Specialist you will be responsible for certain areas of the quality management systems and ensuring GMP is up to date enabling the site to operate effectively and efficiently in compliance with global and local guidelines, regulations, legislation and requirements. Your main tasks will be:

- QA support for the production in improving and maintaining GMP level according to Oterra’s standard
- Implementing and maintaining local HACCP and GMP procedures, and conducting verification activities
- Handling of deviations and complaints incl. corrective and preventive actions
- Performing training in quality, HACCP, GMP, corrective and preventive actions
- Contributing to external certification audits and customer audits of the area in relation to quality, food safety, Kosher and Halal, handling of findings from audits etc.
- Providing input to internal audit plan and conducting internal audits
- Reporting on local and global KPIs to Site Management

**Who are we looking for?**

You have a university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent. Regardless of your academic background, you have thorough knowledge within food safety and quality.

To succeed in this position, you:

- have experience within Food Safety Management (FSSC 22000)
- are familiar with risk assessments and the HACCP principles, and you have experience with implementing customer and regulatory requirements
- have experience with communication and cross functional work and you have strong interpersonal skills
- have knowledge of food ingredients and production processes
- have presentation and auditor skills (minimum internal audit)
- are independent, outgoing and a good decision maker
- are systematic, customer and result oriented
- master Danish and English at a high level, as you must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and auditors from Denmark and abroad.
