**Packer Operator**

**Position purpose**:
In this position, you will be responsible for operating the assigned machines at optimal parameters in order to achieve the production targets with minimum waste and at the required quality. Maintaining the machine and work area in accordance with occupational health and safety, clean condition and 5S3R during all working time by using proper tools and methods. You will be responsible for coordinating the team working on the same machines and you should have the willingness to overtime flexibility, teamwork and willingness to work in shifts.

**What will you do - responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the quantity and quality of production in line with the daily plans. Fill in all needed forms and documentation related to the process
- Maintain machine and work area in accordance to the occupational health and safety, clean condition and 5S3R during all work time by using proper tools and methods
- To co-ordinate with the handlers all the raw materials deliveries from the warehouse in order to ensure an optimal supply and a continuous manufacturing process and to check and ensure correct materials are received for production in accordance with the products specification documents
- Check and record on the control charts the quality of the products coming out of his machine using visual inspection and physical through adequate machine quality control every 20 min, and communicate with mechanics or electricians for preventive/ corrective actions
- Always demonstrate safe behaviour in line with JTI's EHS standards, complying with JTI's code of conduct, legal & other requirements

**Who are we looking for - requirements**:

- National Diploma or Higher National Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment
- Arabic & Basic English is preferred
- Experience in a production environment, adequate cigarette packers knowledge is mandatory, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
