**RESPONSABILITIES**
- To manage the implementation of the project and the results intended for it in accordance with workplan, project proposal, budget and other relevant project documents.
- To coordinate capacity-building activities in coordination with national partners.
- Identify and follow-up with international experts in close coordination with the Team Leader.
- To identify national consultants and other service providers supporting the implementation under the supervision of the Team leader.
- To familiarize oneself with project proposal budget and its translation to the relevant project documents as per project management procedures, all Spanish Cooperation, Action Documents, Annexes and PACA requirements, reporting dates and formats and internal reporting requirements.
- To draft the periodic monitoring reports and final reports, and justifications necessary in compliance with the Spanish Cooperation regulations and PACA Manual, the EUTF Agreement and other EU regulations.
- To develop and implement reporting and monitoring mechanisms, including a comprehensive tracking system to monitor project activities according to the Action document and the requirements of the Spanish Cooperation and the EU and ensure that all relevant documentation is produced and made available timely upon request.
- To promptly informing the Team Leader of any incident, difficulty, or deviation from the Work Plan.
- To arrange logistics on missions of experts providing capacity building activities and supporting Team Leader in receiving experts, delegations and / or officials upon their arrival in Egypt or Spain for the implementation of activities, ensuring that they have the necessary means to carry out their tasks.
- To manage administrative and logistic tasks for the project in close coordination with the Project Assistant and the Project Administrator.
- To closely coordinate with the Team Leader and partners for administrative issues, gathering and distributing the required information about the project.
- To draft informational and visibility materials in coordination with the communication officer and under the supervision of the Team Leader.
- Undertake regular field and site visits and duty travel to monitor progress of activities and develop new project activities and complementary components in consultation with national partners as required.
- To support the Team Leader with the institutional relations to ensure a smoothly implementation of the project.
- To provide all necessary translations Arabic-English or vice versa, and coordinate translation of needed documents Arabic-Spanish, English-Spanish or vice versa.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

**REQUIERED QUALIFICATIONS**
- PhD or Master’s in Political Sciences, International Relations, Law, Development or a relevant field in a accredited institution and at least 5 years of professional experience.
- BA or Honors in the mentioned fields and at least 7 years of relevant experience.

**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**
- Solid experience in designing, managing, and implementing projects, preferably EU-funded projects and delegated cooperation projects.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
- Experience in international development projects management, particularly with the EU or European Member States.
- Experience with the Spanish Cooperation or Public administration is highly desirable.
- Experience in proficiently using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), internet, is required.
- Experience in office procedures and practices in a multicultural environment is desirable.
- Experience in organization of events and meetings.

**SKILLS**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with governmental and no-governmental counterparts/actors
- Excellent writing skills and ability to draft relevant documents, such as project reports, official correspondence, concept notes, press statements, others
- Solid knowledge of Spanish Cooperation, its instruments and programs in North Africa and the Middle East, and specifically in Egypt is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of the Spanish public administration, particularly of the actors related to migration governance and development policies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Egyptian socio-political context and its main actors, particularly in the field of migration. Knowledge of the regional context is also desirable.
