**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Quality Management & Compliance**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the **Quality Management System (QMS)** in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, HACCP, GMP, BRC, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with **food safety regulations** and customer specifications across all production lines.
- Conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and oversee corrective actions to maintain certification status.
- Develop and update **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** for quality control processes.
**Quality Control & Assurance**:
- Establish and enforce **quality assurance protocols** across all production stages to minimize defects and ensure product consistency.
- Monitor **raw material, in-process, and finished product quality**, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Oversee the implementation of **statistical process control (SPC)** techniques to track product variations and reduce waste.
- Investigate **customer complaints** and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent reoccurrences.
**Food Safety & Hygiene**:
- Lead **food safety programs**, including HACCP implementation, risk assessment, and preventive control measures.
- Ensure strict adherence to **hygiene and sanitation standards** in production and storage areas.
- Conduct regular **microbiological testing and chemical analysis** to verify product safety.
**Supplier & Raw Material Quality Management**:
- Work closely with **procurement teams** to ensure suppliers meet **quality and safety standards**.
- Establish **supplier evaluation and audit programs** to ensure consistency in raw material quality.
- Collaborate with R&D to validate and approve **new ingredients, packaging materials, and processing methods**.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
- **With Production**: Partner with production teams to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
- **With R&D**: Support new product development by ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- **With Supply Chain & Procurement**: Monitor **incoming material quality**, manage vendor audits, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- **With Sales & Customer Service**: Address **customer quality concerns** and implement preventive actions to improve product satisfaction.
**Continuous Improvement & Training**:
- Lead **continuous improvement initiatives** to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes.
- Conduct **root cause analysis** (RCA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate quality issues.
- Develop and deliver **quality training programs** for employees to reinforce quality culture and best practices.
**Sustainability & Environmental Quality Compliance**:
- Ensure waste management and reduction initiatives align with **sustainability goals** and regulatory requirements.
- Implement energy-efficient and eco-friendly practices to **minimize the environmental impact** of production activities.
**Data Reporting & Performance Analysis**:
- Develop and maintain **quality reporting systems** to track KPIs such as **product defects, customer complaints, audit scores, and compliance metrics**.
- Provide **monthly reports and insights** to senior management on quality trends and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize ERP and digital quality tracking tools to ensure **real-time monitoring and analysis** of quality data.
**Qualifications**:
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- **10+ years** of experience in **quality assurance and food safety management** within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of **ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, BRC, FSSC 22000, and other food safety standards**.
- Experience in **audits, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment**.
- Proficiency in **ERP systems (SAP preferred), data analysis, and reporting tools**.
- Excellent **leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration** skills.
