Regent British School New Mansoura opened in 2020 with 16 pupils, and in 2024, we will be starting all classes in Year 9. RBS is the founding school of the RBS family.

We are expanding our KS1 department following another year of successful enrollment. We are seeking passionate Year 1 & 2 teachers.

**The Curriculum**

At RBS, we integrate the finest elements of British Education with the Cambridge Curriculum to create a customized educational program that caters to our students' unique requirements. Our primary goal is to instil a love for learning that lasts a lifetime while fostering skills and capabilities in high demand by universities and employers worldwide.

**The following is a list of qualities that an RBS teacher should possess**:

- The ability to deliver their students well-planned, engaging, and creative learning experiences.
- The ability to provide a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Setting high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
- Ensuring excellent pastoral care for the students.
- Contributing enthusiastically and committedly to the co-curricular programme and whole-school activities.
- Working cooperatively and supportively with all members of staff.
- Possessing a growth mindset, a positive and flexible attitude, and preparedness to go the extra mile.
- While experience in teaching EAL students is desirable, it is not essential.

**Qualifications**:
The following qualifications are necessary:

- A PGCE, PGCi or an equivalent Early Years qualification, e.g. EYITT
- QTS

Regent British School in New Mansoura is the first British school in the Delta area. We currently have 170 students from Pre-K to Year 8 and plan to expand to Year 9 in 2024-25. The New Mansoura school is the founding school within the RBS family.

**Our Community**

RBS is located in New Mansoura, a modern city purpose-built for this school. It is situated 3 hours north of Cairo and 2 hours east of Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast. Although some city phases are still under construction, residents will soon move in.

Our students come from different backgrounds and locations, and many of them have to travel 1.5 hours to attend our school. When they start school, most of them have limited English, and their families have only received government education in Arabic.

Our staff comprises both UK and Egyptian nationals and form close relationships both within and outside the school.

**Our Curriculum**

At RBS, we have developed a unique curriculum that combines the best of British education with the Cambridge Curriculum to meet the specific needs of our students. We aim to foster a lifelong passion for learning in our students, equipping them with the skills and abilities that universities and employers worldwide value.

Our curriculum is designed to produce students who are open-minded, creative, and thoughtful and who are strongly committed to academic excellence. The Cambridge Curriculum standards and the British Curriculum expectations ensure that our students receive a culturally sensitive and international education.

At RBS, we believe in providing an adaptable, challenging, and inspiring curriculum emphasising hands-on learning and problem-solving over mere rote memorisation. This approach ensures that our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future challenges.
