**Purpose of the Job**

To ensure smooth acquisition of goods and services that meet organization needs at the best possible value. This role involves collaborating with internal departments, identifying and sourcing new vendors, negotiating purchases, and completing on-site transactions using petty cash or company cards, and managing the purchase order process to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications, and finance settlements

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Receive and review purchase requests.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for a variety of goods and services, considering factors such as quality, cost, availability, and compliance with organization' standards.
- Travel independently to various locations to meet with vendors and assess their offerings, and verifying product quality.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure the most favorable value for the organization, considering factors like bulk discounts and payment terms.
- Complete on-site purchases using petty cash or company cards, adhering to organization' spending limits and authorization procedures.
- Record all purchases details accurately including vendor information, product details, transaction costs, and any relevant notes from negotiations or initial inspections.
- Prepare reports summarizing purchasing activities in the field, including cost analysis, basic vendor performance metrics, and any identified areas for improvement.
- Finalize purchase settlements with the Finance department, ensuring proper documentation, timely processing of payments to vendors, and adherence to organization's financial policies.
- Collaborative with internal departments to understand upcoming purchasing needs and ensure seamless integration with other business functions.
- Perform other tasks as necessary.

**Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field.
- From 1 to 3 years of professional experience in relevant field.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic.
- Communication: Ability to understand and communicate information and ideas effectively, whether presented through spoken words and sentences or in writing.
- Attentive to details.
- Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
- Problem solving
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

**Travel and Working requirements**
- Office work environment; sitting, typing, walking and occasional lifting of boxes and luggage.
- Travel: Domestic (nation-wide) travel is required, with occasional short-notice trips.
