About the job OSS NOC - ICT
**Purpose of the job**
- Managing End to End planning and support activities for Operations Support Systems and responsible for building the best practices of Element manager systems, tools to enhance operational performance and driving E2E service monitoring mind set
- Responsible for availability, delivery, resolution and incidents of OSS systems
- Act as OSS second level of support for operations team and promptly react to their complaints and fix any raising issues according to the agreed SLA.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Day to day operational activities and administration of all OSS components.
- Perform investigation and root cause analysis on problems affecting system operation and recommend resolution actions.
- Perform activities necessary to repair OSS systems to restore the functionality, availability and performance as required.
- Handling tickets related to OSS systems and ensure resolution is done as per agreed SLAs.
- Creating needed software support trouble tickets to vendor and ensure close follow-up till case is resolved.
- Support business configuration issues.
- Update workflows and concerned parameters from GUI and backend.
- Implementation of approved changes.
- Data clean up and reconciliation between systems.
- Regular health checks on systems and processes.
- Providing periodic reports to the utilization of the system from licensing and capacity perspective.
- Proactively monitor the performance of the OSS systems.
- Develop and deliver training to new entry OSS engineers.
- Project manager for all OSS systems deployment projects.
- Ensure proper integration for any new OSS system with other existing systems and tools.
- Responsible for systems handover and acceptance from implementation to Operational phase.
**Job specification**
**Education**
- ** **Bachelor's degree from Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
**Experience**
- Minimum 3 Years Experience In The Same Function.
- OSS Service Fulfilment experience.
- Experience in Nokia FlowOne service order management is a plus.
- Hands on experience on service order entry, workflows,
- Experienced in implementing network automation.
- Knowledge of different communication protocols (TCP/IP, DB, SOAP, CORBA, REST, ).
- Knowledge in database work (SQL, ).
- Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (Java, C / C++, Python, Kafka, ).
