Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Responsible for managing the market Visual Merchandising, store team, and Partner VM’s to deliver effective and commercial visual standards, including store layouts in line with brand guidelines
- To provide direction & coaching prioritizing results in key focus areas for the business ensuring VM is a profit contributor
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop team to ensure harmonious and productive team
- Work cross functionally with other teams and functions to ensure the efficient implementation of visual initiatives
- Maintain a high level of presence within the market (80% of time) based on an agreed travel plan, prioritizing Trade Zones in key cities
- Provide regular visits to the market based on the agreed door priority list & travel plan frequency with regular hands in coaching and guidance to in store teams. Conducting visits in a consistent way & feeding back findings to stakeholders as per agreed process & taking the required VM actions
- Implement processes and procedures to deliver best practice across all stores in area of responsibility
- Train and develop store teams and partner VMs on exemplary brand visual standards across all VM modules as per the annual plan
- Ensure that the Partner VM Delivery Team is adequately servicing their market & providing the VM hands on support required to the priority doors
- Feedback to line manager amendment to visuals or guidelines due to local market requirements
- Feedback to line manager visual trends within the sporting goods industry & competitors
- Implement relevant VM projects and initiatives & provide feedback to line manager
- Ensure all guidelines & in season updates within market have been delivered with excellence
- Ensure adequate remote support is provided for the opening of doors on market that don’t fall into the priority door list
- Work with stakeholders to implement plans for new market entry, new store openings & challenging stores
- Be onsite for the physical opening of key doors agreed by the business
- Provide information required to support GTM process
- Support showroom preparation and execution
- Adapt visit approaches to meet the needs of the door / customer; identifying in season updates & drive solutions that can scale consistently for LENA
- Prepare monthly / weekly activity schedules for area of responsibility according to the overall visual plan, incorporating ad hoc events where necessary
- Review delivery of visual & brand activities in area of responsibility against schedules feeding back to the relevant stakeholders where necessary
- Action distribution of visual materials to stores in area of responsibility with planning function
- Provide line manager & stakeholders with feedback on the quality of ISC in store
- Ensure brand proposition is integrated into all visual activity
- Support VM peer group where required
- Contribute to the sharing of best practice within LENA
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- VM management with stores across a large territory
- Ability to coach and train teams
- High volume store opening
- Experience of working with wholesale accounts whilst working for an over-arching brand
- English fluency required
- French & Arabic desired
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business or Marketing or Visual Merchandising equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years progressive work experience in Retail, specifically Visual Merchandising
- 2 years’ experience within an area VM position or similar
