DevOps Lead

Or are you already an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer? Then you might be our new Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer in Danfoss Drives.

The position is located in either Graasten or Kolding, with flexibility of homeworking.

**Responsibilities**:
If you join the DevOps scrum team, you will experience that our daily activities touch all the layers of the stack, from scaling our massive build server infrastructure in the cloud, providing configuration management solutions for the test engineers to quickly spin up test environments on prem, creating a platform around the automation of release processes for a growing number of product variants and providing monitoring and metrics to the development teams. Your role in this will be to drive the DevOps architecture, support development of internal tooling, and maintaining our DevOps services used by our product development teams.

In our organization, you will be representing the team by driving communication with stakeholders and aligning architecture and designs in relation to our DevOps infrastructure.

**Background & Skills**:
There are several paths into the role of Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer. Either you are a Senior DevOps Engineer, who is ready to the next step in your career, by taking the lead of more complex development tasks or you are already an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer.

You hold B.Sc., M.Sc., or higher degree within Software Engineering and communicate effortlessly in English, verbally and written. Eager to see a great effort transformed into business, but also helpful and dedicated to teamwork. You have the ability to communicate with stakeholders internally and externally. It's expected to have a personal drive and natural curiosity and eagerness in seeking the best solutions.

Experience in the following tools, methods and processes is expected:

- Agile & DevOps ways of working
- Programming skills, e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, Domain Specific Language
- Cloud computing services, such as virtual machines and storage, serverless computing and web apps
- General DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Github
- Service connections, such as RestAPI, Identity and authentication management
- General security awareness
- Infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform, Packer, Docker, Ansible
- Infrastructure monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
