**Project Description**:
The WESE program is five-year USAID-funded project designed to engage, leverage, and partner with the private sector as well as public social service initiatives to encourage women’s participation in the workforce; generate demand for financial services; promote tailored, market-based solutions to women’s economic empowerment; and strengthen GBV prevention and response such that women become more economically and socially resilient.
WESE activities **_integrate, mutually reinforcing private and public sector-led approaches_** that aim to **_change power relationships, transform structures, and build agency_** to effect results along critical change pathways. The program interventions are designed to lead women in priority governorates feeling safe, valued, and empowered at work; motivated and able to embrace financial autonomy; and respected and free from violence in their homes, communities, and workplaces.
The program works closely with **_market-based partners_** to develop, lead, scale, sustain, and champion innovative solutions, recognizing the economic AND social benefits of gender-inclusive, empowering policies and practices.
**Job Summary**:
The Receptionist will be responsible for the Front Desk/Reception Area, receive and direct visitors around the office, and providing administrative support for USAID WESEP Program.
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Greets partners, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and direct visitors in an efficient and courteous manner
- Assisting team members with administrative tasks such as documents preparation
- photocopying, scanning, and printing of materials for the program as required
- Typing and archiving professional business letters and general correspondence
- Maintain detailed calendars, coordinate schedules, book the meeting room based on the request of the team members
- Management of courier (receiving and dispatching deliveries)
- Update attendance register daily
- Maintain the tidiness of the reception area
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Qualifications**:
- University degree preferably in Administration, Commerce, Arts or related field.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable position
- Ability to manage office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, projectors, and printers
- Strong filing and secretarial skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience working with an international NGO is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written abilities in both English and Arabic
- Ability to shift priorities and multi-task in a high-paced environment
- Always exhibit friendly and helpful attitude given the high level of interaction with partners and staff
**Effort, Reporting and Other Administrative Requirements**:
Receptionist is a full-time position that reports to HR and Administration Manager who will coordinate all aspects of his/her employment, including but not limited to job description, duties, qualifications, working environment, and performance.
**Working Environment**:
This position will interact with all staff and external visitors. May travel to various locations within Egypt, specifically WESE Program defined governorates.
